My journey began far from the corporate boardroom—in psychiatric nursing and behavioural analysis. Working with individuals in crisis and children with autism taught me that "resistance to change" is rarely about stubbornness—it’s usually about fear, confusion, or a lack of structure. In those high-stakes environments, I didn't just learn patience; I mastered the art of de-escalation and therapeutic intervention to ensure safety and progress.

I realized that organizations are just groups of people facing their own anxieties about change.

Today, as the founder of Fernanda Global Consulting, I have traded hospital rounds for digital transformation strategies, but my core philosophy remains: empathy is a strategic asset.
